Featured Home Inspection Services
For the Home Buyer
A home is probably the largest purchase you'll ever make, so it's important to understand the condition of your investment. I will provide a non-invasive Comprehensive Home Inspection examination of the home’s accessible structure, systems and components. While a home inspection is not a prediction of future conditions, it will significantly reduce your anxiety by providing you with the knowledge you need to make an informed home-buying decision. Safety and Security isPriority One for you and your family.
For the Home Seller
Are you selling your home? Let me inspect it before you even list it. A Pre-Listing Home Inspection alerts you to any defects or problems with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. Show prospective buyers that you're dealing in good faith, ensuring your home is move-in ready and safe for the new owners.
For Insurance Purposes
Wind Mitigation Inspections are performed when a certified inspector checks your home for wind-resistant features. These features can be anything from door/window coverings, the way your roof is attached to your home, and how your roof is sealed to prevent water from entering. In areas affected by hurricanes and hail, insurance companies often provide discounts on premiums for homes with features that increase their wind resistance. Qualifying for these discounts requires a professional wind mitigation inspection report.
4-Point Inspections look at the 4 major systems (Roof, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) in an older home. An insurance company wants to know that an older home has been well maintained, and the major systems are in good working condition. Many insurance companies require a 4-Point Inspection for homeowner’s insurance, and renewals for an existing policy on an older home. Check out my Services page for more detailed information.
MY COMMITMENT TO YOU
You have assembled a team of professionals: your realtor, appraiser, and mortgage lender; now select a certified home inspector to advise you of the current condition of the components of your pending purchase. Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until our appointment. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. Your attendance and participation in the inspection process is strongly recommended. If you cannot be there, your inspection report can be delivered to your real restate agent or emailed to you. Ultimately, a Comprehensive Home Inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you allow me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort.
